When you strip away its hot-button connotations, the very notion of sustainability is inherent to farming one plot of land over and over and over again. Staying true to our Farm Hard platform — a voice that glorifies the sport of farming, not tractor tires — a truthful sustainability angle came into focus.

Composition determines character. Respect. Work ethic. Unwavering grit. These are the ever-recurring components of a farmer. Today, we’re rewriting our products’ character with better composition. By making 100% of our Des Moines, Iowa tires with recycled materials and soybean oil. In doing so, we renew another foundational characteristic of farming: making use — after use, after use — of what you have.

Aside from sustainability pieces, I also helped with Firestone Ag social.

Whenever we posted photos from the Firestone archives — a collection of early 20th century images directed by Harvey Firestone himself — our followers ate it up.
